This semi-systematic review paper discusses four research questions based on findings from the last 10 years: What are crucial issues in ongoing debate development of electric vehicle (EV) concept? Where major conflicting points and focuses between sustainable economy EVs? How does mining metals minerals follow current zero-waste sustainability trends, how prediction magnitude future demand for EV batteries guide strategic decision-making policies throughout globe? As it is not easy to currently predict necessary productions will be produced, this article suggests a strategy that diverse regarding its approaches shaping further EVs, along with involvement urban planning. Using broad literature published pool scenarios, we provide comprehensive assessment battery raw materials under range accounting factors such as developments technology, variations fleet composition, aspects second use recycling technologies. Additionally, demonstrates blockchain technology likely force mineral metal supply chains become significantly more traceable transparent.

The rapid development of electric vehicles (EVs) around the world has resulted in new challenges for road safety. Identifying features EV crashes is a precondition developing effective countermeasures. However, due to short history development, existing studies on are quite limited. China, which largest market world, witnessed substantial increase recent years. Therefore, this study comprehensively investigated characteristics by analyzing 2023 traffic crash data from Changshu. This pioneering that discusses safety comparing real and ICEV city world. It was found had higher fatality rate compared internal combustion engine vehicle (ICEV) crashes. Compared crashes, more likely hit pedestrians occur during starting phase. Among involved proportion EVs used passenger freight transport than ICEVs. In addition, female drivers much higher, but elderly lower. Thus, identify significant factors influencing severity, logistic regression model built. results confirm be fatal hitting light trucks occurring rural areas, at intersections, winter, weekdays could significantly risk fatalities. These findings expected provide perspectives improving within wave automotive electrification.
