In response to the growing photovoltaic distributed generation market, this study investigates evolution of energy policies and mechanisms driving growth (DGPV). Analyzing top ten countries in installations, it examines historical trends capacity growth, installation costs, stakeholder engagement evaluate policy effectiveness. Eight categories are identified as follows: direct financial incentives, market regulation, government management, production performance-based feed-in tariffs, renewable obligations, research development initiatives, agreements commitments. The results emphasize crucial influence management policies, regulation on promoting DGPV. Political will effective governance key drivers advancing technology development. Policies reducing costs encouraging investment support transition systems from early adoption maturity. Despite these advances, disparities implementation highlight need for adaptable frameworks tailored local contexts. By leveraging solar energy, an abundant universally accessible resource, nations can enhance equity through accelerate shift toward sustainable systems. This analysis offers valuable insights policymakers seeking promote DGPV a central strategy combating climate change.
