Soil contamination by lead, zinc, iron, manganese, and copper is a widespread environmental issue associated with the mining industry. Primary sources include activities, production processing operations, waste disposal management practices, atmospheric sediments. degradation, water pollution impacting aquatic ecosystems, plant absorption leading to agricultural product contamination, health risks exposure copper, along effects on fauna biodiversity, constitute primary impacts of contamination. In this study, diverse sampling analysis methods, geographic information systems, remote sensing techniques are investigated for monitoring assessing soil these metals. modification techniques, phytoremediation, other strategies reduction considered among most crucial, alongside protection risk strategies. Finally, article explores innovative methods solutions mineral remediation, application green chemistry sustainable practices in industry, utilization artificial intelligence controlling heavy metal ion pollution.

Chemical oxidation remediation is a technique that involves the addition of chemical oxidants to contaminated soil degrade total petroleum hydrocarbons (TPHs), with goal reducing organic matter content or eliminating contamination. This paper reviews research progress several major technologies, including hydrogen peroxide (H 2 O )-based Fenton and Fenton-like systems, calcium (CaO persulfate-activated systems (e.g., Na S 8 ). Among these, system has recently emerged as hotspot due its potential in TPHs from soil. The efficiency degradation depends significantly on activation method employed oxidative capacity system. Consequently, future should focus two critical directions: (1) development highly efficient, cost-effective, environmentally sustainable methods; (2) enhancement performance existing such /CaO /H . In discussing advancements these this specifically examines various persulfate methods their corresponding treatment efficiencies. aim provide insights references for friendly thereby promoting application technologies hydrocarbon-contaminated soils.
