Desalinating seawater is a crucial method for addressing the shortage of freshwater resources. High-efficiency, low-cost, and environmentally friendly desalination technologies are key issues that urgently need to be addressed. This work used Populus tomentosa Carr. as matrix material prepared Carr.@Fe-GA through complexation reaction enhance water evaporation rate photothermal conversion efficiency desalination. The concentration impregnation solution was further refined, bonding mechanism along with thermal stability composite investigated, including an assessment their efficiency. research results indicate in 3.5% NaCl under light intensity conditions one sun reached 1.72 kg·m-2·h-1, which increase 44.5% compared untreated It achieved 95.1%, improvement 53.6% over Carr., maintained high performance (95.4%) even after prolonged rinsing. realizes functional utilization offers novel approach development use wood-derived material.
