Tunnel Oxide Passivating Contacts (TOPcon) battery in the photovoltaic industry generates high ammonium wastewater during production process, adaptability of using anaerobic ammonia oxidation (Anammox) process for (PVW) treatment is a research hotspot. Based on analysis water quality, effectiveness nitrogen removal, sludge characteristics and microbial communities were examined. The results showed that when influent NH4+-N concentration PVW was lower than 150 mg·L-1, removal efficiency (NRE) almost 100%. In addition, NRE decreased from 73.97% sharply to 20.12% increased 175 mg·L-1 200 mg·L-1. extracellular polymeric substance (EPS) content with increasing concentration, indicating loading promoted EPS secretion. main functional populations Candidatus Kuenenia (0-23.73%). anammox has great potential development advancement.
