The investigation of kinetics is crucial for optimizing the adsorption process, particularly in multicomponent systems where several adsorbates compete active sites on adsorbent particle. This study presents a novel approach to improve pseudo-first-order and pseudo-second-order kinetic models by integrating competition parameter. parameter quantifies influence adsorbate interaction process. Empirical data binary involving doxycycline (DXC) tetracycline (TTC) were used validate improved models. results indicate that adjusted effectively depict when R² values approach unity. factor, denoted α, degree which one affects capacity other. indicates revised offer more thorough understanding systems, thereby facilitating effective selection adsorbents optimization
