Magnesium alloys are an important group of materials that used in many industries, primarily due to their low weight. Constantly increasing quality requirements make it necessary improve the accuracy manufactured products. In this study, precision milling process for AZ91D and AZ31B magnesium was investigated, results obtained with uncoated TiB2-coated end mills were compared. The impact variable cutting parameters also investigated. Specifically, study focused on dimensional machined parts. showed even though both comparable, higher case alloy by up 22%. demonstrated use TiB2 coating did not have desired effect 27% tool.
