To address the challenges of feature extraction and low classification accuracy in fault diagnosis variable-speed rolling bearings, this paper proposes an intelligent method based on bandwidth division variational mode decomposition (BDVMD), fractional domain time-shift multiscale Boltzmann-Shannon interaction entropy (FRTSMFrBSIE), parameter-optimized gated recurrent unit with multi-head self-attention (GRU-MHSA). First, BDVMD is introduced to decompose reconstruct signals, obtaining high-quality reconstructed signals. Next, FRTSMFrBSIE proposed calculate signals generate a dataset. Subsequently, improved dung beetle optimization (IDBO) algorithm applied optimize parameters GRU-MHSA model, adaptively determining its optimal configuration. Finally, dataset input into optimized model for classification, achieving 98.75%. Experiments conducted Ottawa bearing validate method, results demonstrate effectiveness superiority classification.
