Informal groundwater markets have spontaneously developed in Pakistan due to the heterogeneity of farmers’ resource endowments, irrigation water shortages, and productivity gains groundwater. Evidence shows that allocation through formal or informal can result significant benefits for buyers sellers improve sustainable use. Existing literature on generally takes only buyers’ perspectives into account when studying factors influencing purchase irrigation. In contrast, we look at both investigate participation markets. We conducted this study three agroecological zones Punjab. The data was collected from a sample size 360 farmers, with an equal proportion buyers, sellers, self-users. Cragg’s double hurdle model used extent buying selling. Results demand side analysis show educated has negative correlation market level purchasing. addition, large farmers are less likely buy water, indicating majority smallholders. However, degree land fragmentation, soil fertility, adoption improved seeds each may increase participation. Water cost family impact results supply tubewell capacity, number operational tubewells given farm positive relationship likelihood selling water. When it comes amount sold, two positively influence income sales fragmentation. Finally, discuss implications these extraction

Considering China's green credit policy (GCP) as a quasi-natural experiment, this study discusses the effect of GCP on enterprise innovation (GI) using difference-in-difference method based data from Chinese listed companies 2009 to 2020. The results indicate that enhances strategic GI heavy polluters while significantly inhibiting essential GI, thus suggesting nonexistence Porter effect. In addition, inhibition is attributed an increase in financing constraints and reduction government subsidies, firm research development investment, employment scale. This disincentive particularly pronounced privately owned firms, small cities, capital-intensive low-profitability firms. Resource misallocation caused by fails stimulate transformation heavily polluting industries through Hence, governments should establish diversified financial system, integrate venture capital elements, guide flow social toward industries.

The concept of agricultural and environmental sustainability refers to minimizing the degradation natural resources while increasing crop productions; assessment inflow outflow energy is helpful in highlighting resilience system maintaining its productivity. In this regard, current study evaluated amount input–output cotton productions their interventions. Data are randomly collected from 400 farmers through face-to-face interview. Results suggested that major consumed by three culprits, i.e., chemical fertilizer, diesel fuel, irrigation water (11,532.60, 11,121.54, 4,531.97 MJ ha −1 , respectively). Total greenhouse gas (GHG) emission 1,106.12 kg CO 2eq with main share coming machinery, water. Stimulating data energies, e.g., use efficiency (1.53), specific (7.69 ), productivity (0.13 net gained (16,409.77 ). Further analysis using envelopment (DEA) showed low technical efficiency, 69.02%, most probable cause poor efficiency. impermanent trend growth has been witnessed plausible potential savings 4,048.012 16,194.77 a reduction 148.96–595.96 GHG emission. Cobb–Douglas production function further applied discover associations input output, which inferred biocides have significant effect on yield. marginal physical (MPP) values obliged additional (1 MJ) fuel (diesel), biocides, machinery can enhance yield at rate 0.35, 1.52, 0.45 respectively. Energy saving best links sharing data, 55.66% (direct), 44.34% (indirect), 21.05% (renewable), 78.95% (nonrenewable), unveiled high usage nonrenewable (fossil fuels) ultimately contributes emissions GHGs. Based on panel data 126 resource-based prefecture-level cities in China from 2005 to 2017, current study used a dynamic model empirically determine emission reduction effects different green instruments under regulatory intensities. The results showed that tools had significant negative intensity emissions, adapt regulations intensities, which cooperated carbon reduction. Moreover, comparison, debt-based instrument stronger effect than equity-based instrument, they did not show coupling relationship. An administrative adjustment is required improve sustainable

Understanding the coordinative relationship between urbanization and ecosystem services (ESs) has a great significance in sustainable development urban agglomeration. In this paper, InVEST model was firstly used to assess spatio-temporal evaluation of four types ESs (water yield, carbon storage, soil retention nitrogen export) Yangtze River Delta Urban Agglomerations (YRDUA) China from 2000 2020. Then comprehensive index system established multi-dimensions economy, population land analyze level during study period. Finally, service (CES) developed explore by using coupling coordinating degree (CCDM). The results revealed that: 1) Urbanization led greatly use/ cover change, which caused degradation storage water purification, improvement yield retention. higher export mainly clustered around areas, while were distributed forest-rich cities Zhejiang southern Anhui. There positive correlations different ESs. And CES YRDUA had deteriorated 2) levels almost all showed an overall upward trend, with Shanghai highest urbanization, followed Nanjing Hangzhou, rapid expansion occurred areas. 3) always mild incoordination, showing obvious spatial distribution pattern "higher south, but lower north". most north not achieved coordination development, state moderate or south attained primary even superior coordination. Therefore, our suggested that differentiated space management control policies should be made for improve urbanization.

With the growing influence of sustainable development in recent years, there has been an increasing focus on green consumption. Little previous research highlighted important influential role that social media information sharing plays overall This study aims to explore how influences purchasing intentions Generation Z. We constructed a theoretical framework for Z’s purchase intention based SOR theory and elucidated relationship between sharing, perceived value, subjective norms, intention. discusses dual mediating value norms explores moderating consumer occupation. Through self-administered questionnaire survey 274 members Z China, we found (1) positive effect intention; (2) are considered play partially consumers’ relationship; (3) occupation mediates intention, such is stronger non-student consumers insignificant student consumers. Our findings not only enrich empirical consumption, but may also help practitioners develop strategies behavior toward products.

Systematic searches were conducted the databases SCOPUS, Web Science, Bielefeld Academic Search Engine, COnnecting REpositories (CORE), Google Scholar. We identified 2113 articles published between 2010–2021, out which 40 met inclusion criteria. results show that technology has gained prominence last decade, with 66% selected papers being six years. main areas included: crop yield estimation, soil fertility assessment, cropping patterns monitoring, drought pest disease detection management, precision agriculture, fertilizer weed management. potential enhance through integrating spatial dimension into policies. In addition, promoting evidenced informed decision making is growing. There is, however, a big gap sub-Saharan Africa, only one paper originating from region. With growing threat climate change food security, there an increased need integration sustainability.
