As the aging population creates mounting pressures on society, economy, and public health systems, rational equitable distribution of elderly care resources becomes increasingly essential. This study applies various methods, such as kernel density estimation, spatial autocorrelation analysis, Gini coefficient decomposition, to examine provincial panel data institutions in both urban rural regions China covering period from 2008 2021. research seeks assess improve accessibility equity resources. The results indicate that degree has significantly intensified, with institutions' resource allocation increasing annually surpassing institutions. However, inequalities between areas, well among different regions, still exist. uneven institutions, overall enhancement clustering are key features observed. Drawing these insights, offers a set policy recommendations address disparities inconsistencies regions.

The increasing frequency of extreme climate events has posed severe challenges to China’s socio-economic development and ecological environment due geological disasters. Therefore, there is an urgent need for effective adaptive strategies enhance geo-disaster resilience. Environmental governance, as measure reduce risks from climates disasters while promoting high-quality social development, remains underexplored in terms its impact on This study innovatively constructs a resilience assessment framework that considers intensity, integrating various statistical methods, including the Super-Efficiency Slacks-Based Measure Data Envelopment Analysis (SBM-DEA) model, spatial Markov chains, methods such Geodetector Geographically Temporally Weighted Regression (GTWR), reveal spatiotemporal evolution China 2007 2022, also analyzing mechanisms through which environmental governance influences variations. findings indicate exhibits unstable growth with significant regional disparities. Spatially, shows notable spillover effects tendency toward convergence within similar regions. unevenly enhances over time space: soil water conservation afforestation are generally measures, contributions replenishment, facility management personnel, fiscal expenditure, nature reserve protection vary by region. research offers key insights into improving optimizing disaster response capacity sustainable development.

With global population growth and accelerated technological innovation, human activities have expanded, leading to worsening ecological degradation more frequent disasters, particularly in vulnerable underdeveloped mountainous areas. Western Sichuan, predominantly consisting of cities, has unique geographical conditions that not only hinder socioeconomic development but also create an environment conducive disaster occurrence. This study, therefore, investigates the resilience cities western Sichuan. Using support vector machine (SVM), this study predicts geo-disaster risks. Shapley values from cooperative game theory are employed optimize three evaluation methods, TOPSIS, Grey Relational Analysis (GRA), Rank Sum Ratio (RSR), calculate social values. Finally, determined by integrating risk with resilience. Kernel density estimation GeoDetector then used analyze The findings reveal (1) is generally improving, a gradual decrease number low resilience, though overall level remains low; (2) disparities among evident, showing “east-high, west-low” distribution, primarily due eastern region’s proximity developed it received; (3) proliferation information technology tourism key drivers development, while exacerbate risks; (4) enhancement dependent on interaction multiple driving factors than any single factor. aligned United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG3, SDG4, SDG8, SDG9, SDG11, SDG15), offers recommendations for provides theoretical policy formulation cities.
