Chronic hepatitis B (HBV), alongside D virus (HDV) super-/co-infection and chronic C (HCV), are major contributors to cirrhosis, end-stage liver disease, hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), liver-related mortality. Despite significant progress in antiviral treatments HBV vaccination, viral remains a global health burden. Vulnerable populations, such as those experiencing homelessness, migrants, economically disadvantaged groups, disproportionately impacted by these infections, often facing barriers care exclusion from traditional systems. This leads undiagnosed cases ongoing transmission, undermining efforts eliminate HCV 2030, outlined the World Health Organization (WHO). Recent studies highlight importance of tailored interventions address inequalities. For instance, on-site community-based screening initiatives targeting marginalized groups have shown promise, achieving higher linkage rates without monetary incentives.
