Lactoferrin (LF) is an important component of dairy products. Studies have shown that LF has a protective effect against liver injury, but the mechanism action remains incompletely understood. Lipopolysaccharide (LPS), key bacterial endotoxins, can lead to injury when exposure excessive. Necroptosis newly identified type programmed cell death characterized by swelling, rupture, and necrosis, its excessive activation contributes tissue damage. In this study, we demonstrated alleviates LPS-induced oxidative stress necroptosis in cells modulating ROS-RIPK1-RIPK3 pathway. further mechanistic studies, discovered promotes mitophagy promptly remove damaged mitochondria caused LPS, thereby reducing increase reactive oxygen species (ROS) levels associated with alleviating necrosis. To validate our findings, used inhibitor cyclosporin A (CsA) as negative control, results confirmed findings. These provide novel strategies insights into utilizing alleviate injury.
