As the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), international space agencies, commercial spaceflight programs set their sights on missions to Moon Mars, understanding impact of astronauts’ health performance becomes increasingly important. High-fidelity ground-based space-based simulations hazards induced by these can be used conduct research that will help mitigate potential adverse outcomes in behavioral performance. In this review, current classifications NASA’s analogs are discussed, along with strengths limitations for effectively assessing risk Moon- Mars-bound Recommendations proposed future consideration when designing high-fidelity spaceflight, which emphasize importance standardizing protocols, maintaining safety, addressing ethical standards developing mission-specific habitats.
