Abstract
Here
we
propose
a
framework
and
agenda
for
nutrition-sensitive
governance
(NSG)
of
fisheries
that
rethink
dominant
paradigms
measures
to
incorporate
nutrition-related
objectives
into
governance.
Fish,
rich
in
micronutrients,
have
potential
improving
the
nutritional
status
coastal
riparian
communities,
particularly
Global
South
where
inadequate
nutrition
is
prevalent.
Yet,
fish
alleviate
malnutrition
remains
limited
policy
documents
high-level
government
commitments.
We
an
NSG
grounded
three
main
pillars:
1-extending
boundaries
governance,
2-integrating
multiple
forms
knowledge,
3-prioritizing
domestic
local
needs;
each
these
pillars
links
different
levels
starting
at

conceptualization
