In this study, eleven organochlorine pesticides (OCPs) in fresh vegetables the Changchun suburb were investigated, and their potential health risks evaluated. The average concentrations of OCPs edible parts found following descending order: Σhexachlorocyclohexanes (ΣHCHs) (6.60 µg·kg−1) > Σdichlorodiphenyltrichloroethanes (ΣDDTs) (5.82 ΣChlordanes (2.37 heptachlor (0.29 µg·kg−1). Moreover, different types exceeded maximum residue limits (MRLs), exceeding rates various decreased leafy (19.12%) root (18.75%) fruit (3.85%). proportions MRL Welsh onion (22.50%) radish Chinese cabbage (14.29%) pepper (6.90%) cucumber (3.23%) eggplant (2.94%) tomato (2.78%). sources’ identification results showed that DDTs came mainly from newly imported technical dicofol, while HCHs originated lindane. For both adults children, target hazard quotients (avg. THQ) all less than 1, index HI) values 0.043 0.036, respectively. There no significant associated with OCP exposure for inhabitants study area.
