The influence of secondary porosity and the dimensionality zeolitic structures with 1D 3D pore systems on accessibility cumene to Brønsted acid sites was evaluated in this study. Zeolites Y, ZSM-5, MOR, obtained through NH4F leaching basic treatments, were studied. Y ZSM-5 showed a significant increase specific surface area while maintaining micropore volume as well an concentration following treatment. Zeolite MOR exhibited mesopore retained acidity. impact treatments catalytic properties cracking, which yielded high conversion for materials.
