The acylhydrazone cross-linker (AC) can provide excellent self-healing ability on SBS-modified asphalt (SBSMA), while sulfur is normally used as a to enhance the storage stability of SBSMA. In this paper, effects AC and morphology, stability, physical performances, rheological properties, performance SBSMA were comparatively investigated. results indicated that caused cross-linking SBS, was significantly enhanced by sulfur. Compared with Sulfur/SBSMA, lower viscosity AC/SBSMA more conducive mixing compaction mixtures. similar SBS-cross-linked network structure had slightly poorer softening point high-temperature rutting resistance than but its ductility, low-temperature cracking resistance, deformation recovery better Sulfur/SBSMA. healing indexes 0.15 Sulfur/SBSMA 0.6 36.82 87.21% after 2 h, respectively, efficiency much not only endows also be stabilizer improve

A large amount of solid waste, such as steel slag (SS), is generated annually. At the same time, shortage road construction materials becoming a concern. In this study, to recycle and reuse SS substitute for natural aggregates achieve resource conservation sustainable development roads were conducted. First, electromagnetic performance was explored evaluate its wave-absorbing properties. Next, effect different contents on heating properties, surface temperature, uniformity, ice melting time (IMT) investigated. Finally, carbon emissions assessment (CEA) conventional asphalt mixture (CAM) (SSAM) compared. Results indicated that has ferromagnetic behavior higher parameters, showing better properties than limestone. There three stages during microwave (MH): melting, moisture emitting, stabilization. addition, uniformity tends be poor with increase SS, samples 100 % content have highest standard deviation 21.04 °C 20.77 after 270 s at -10 - 20 °C. Samples containing 50 best deicing which can reduce IMT by 28.57 46.18 initial freezing temperatures thickness compared CAM. Furthermore, CEA revealed CAM SSAM's over construction's life cycle are similar (around 27,000 kg) originate mainly from mixing raw material extraction phases. However, SSAM leads environmental economic benefits provides an exemplary waste solution.

The accumulation of steel slag has become a significant obstacle for the industry in achieving ultra-low emission targets. Given its composition is similar to that road construction materials, holds substantial potential application sustainable construction. This study investigated current status and future trends applications through bibliometric analysis. findings reveal primarily focus on concrete, asphalt, aggregates, processing technologies. activation reactivity stability emerged as key research direction, with carbonated demonstrating exceptional performance provides scientific foundation high-value utilization slag. It suggests optimizing reactivity, stability, carbonation, which will be crucial expanding use
