Diabetes
and
its
complications
derived
are
among
serious
global
health
concerns
that
critically
deteriorate
the
quality
of
life
patients
and,
in
some
cases,
result
lethal
outcome.
Herein,
general
information
on
pathogenesis,
factors
aggravating
course
disease
drugs
used
for
treatment
two
types
diabetes
briefly
discussed.
The
aim
review
is
to
introduce
supramolecular
strategies
currently
being
developed
mellitus
present
a
very
effective
alternative
chemical
synthesis,
allowing
fabrication
nanocontainers
with
switchable
characteristics
meet
criteria
green
chemistry.
Particular
attention
paid
organic
(amphiphilic
polymeric)
formulations,
including
those
natural
origin,
due
their
biocompatibility,
low
toxicity,
bioavailability.

Rheumatoid
arthritis
(RA)
is
characterized
by
elevated
levels
of
reactive
oxygen
species
(ROS)
and
a
persistent
inflammatory
microenvironment
dominated
M1
macrophages,
both
which
contribute
to
disease
progression.
To
address
these
pathological
features,
we
developed
core-shell
nanoplatform
consisting
silver-modified
ceria
nanoparticles
loaded
with
celastrol
(Ag-CeNP@Cel).
This
significantly
enhances
the
water
solubility
reduces
its
hepato-renal
toxicity
enabling
passive
accumulation
in
inflamed
joints.
The
synergistically
combine
scavenge
excess
ROS
reprogram
macrophages
into
M2
thereby
mitigating
responses
improving
rheumatoid
(RAM).
Ag-CeNP@Cel
exhibited
robust
therapeutic
efficacy
safety
preclinical
models,
presenting
an
innovative
approach
RA
treatment
integrating
elimination
macrophage
modulation
ameliorate
microenvironment.
