Static electroelastic behavior of a doubly curved shell composed copper core reinforced with graphene origami auxetic metamaterial are studied in the present paper. The is subjected to uniform mechanical, electrical and thermal loads. To evaluate effective material properties, micromechanical models extended terms both properties matrix reinforcement changes temperature, volume fraction, folding degree geometric parameters nanoplatelets. After extension energy method using piezoelasticity relations, governing equations analytically solved then analytical solution derived explore importance foldability multifield loading on responses. that comprehensive results obtained loading, amount, degree, characteristics foundation's parameter.

This study presents a sustainable approach to activated carbon production from olive stones in comparison commercial ones, using various activating agents such as H3PO4, KOH, and ZnCl2, for enhancing the adsorption properties versatile capability remove range of pollutants including copper ion, methylene blue, 2,4-Dichlorophenoxyacetic acid aqueous solutions. The performances carbons across varying conditions pollutant concentrations, temperatures, pH levels, adsorbent amounts were tested. Increased initial concentrations correlated with higher capacities. Maximum capacities achieved at levels 5, 10, 2 Cu, MB, 2,4-D, respectively. For KOSAC, Cu removal rose 27 % 52 %, ZOSAC, MB increased 39 65 2,4-D surged 33 99 amounts. Model validation was carried out utilizing kinetic models (PFO, PSO) isotherm (Langmuir, Redlich-Peterson). PFO model Langmuir proved more suitability adsorption, whereas PSO models, along Redlich-Peterson prominent adsorption. Thermodynamic analysis revealed that exothermic, while endothermic. By optimization experimental conditions, maximum attained 30.34 °C 297.65 mg L−1 KOSAC-Cu, 48.62 269.37 ZOSAC-MB, 30.31 299.02 ZOSAC-2,4-D sorption. research highlights ZOSAC's potential cost-effective, eco-friendly solution water treatment, contributing environmental sustainability economical feasibility.

Nano-carbon-reinforced polymer composites have gained much consideration in functional applications due to their attractive mechanical strength and cost-effectiveness. The surface chemistry associated of carbon nanotubes (CNTs), graphene, other derivative-based nanocomposites are well understood. While CQDs considered emerging derivatives, chemistry, unique physio-chemical properties, dispersion behavior polymers yet be explored. Therefore, this work, with different structures were synthesized from lemon pulp urea, rheology studied the PVA matrix. structure controlled using solvents reaction temperatures, respectively. possessed a circular shape, size <10 nm, having suitable core groups, as confirmed by TEM FTIR spectroscopy. dynamic viscosity particle PVA/CQDs films peaked at 4% inclusion maximum crosslinking U-CQDs reinforcement 180 °C. Compared pure PVA, optimized composite showed an 80% larger 67% better tensile concentration. In addition enhanced strength, exhibited antibacterial activity composites. These CQDs-reinforced may for textile (shape memory photo-active textiles).

The novel application of laser surface texture as a method for enhancing the deposition coatings on substrates has garnered significant interest. This study focuses use atmospheric plasma-sprayed Mo–NiCrBSiCFe coating, which was applied to both textured and grit-blasted AISI 304 substrates. coating powder created by mechanically milling mixture 25 % molybdenum 75 NiCrBSiCFe powders, providing unique combination materials coating. analysis zeroed in examining effects grooves microstructure, porosity, microhardness, adhesion strength composite findings revealed that primarily comprises MoO2, Mo, Ni phases. In comparison substrate, laser-textured groove substrate exhibited porosity increase 15.15 %, pore size rise 17.45 notable 45.62 improvement strength, 23.57 enhancement scratch resistance. Furthermore, fewer closed pores. microhardness higher than cross-section within grooves. Notably, had impact hardness surpassing results achieved through traditional grit blasting. One observation from this is texturing can have coatings. Another noteworthy finding enhance
