ABSTRACTCrude oil extraction is a hot topic concerning industrial applications. The extracted emulsions treatment with demulsifier demanded for markets. Herein, we prepared naturally based comprising calcium phosphates from coralline materials. XRD verifies successful formation of the intended phosphate characteristic peaks where most intense peak at 30º (211) plane matched well card and former research. SEM reveals spherical, flowery shape. Zeta potential reaches −10 mV indicating reasonable stability demulsifier. Nanotechnology has emerged as an effective means of removing contaminants from water. Traditional techniques for producing nanoparticles, such physical methods (condensation and evaporation) chemical (oxidation reduction), have demonstrated high efficiency. However, these come with certain drawbacks, including the significant energy requirement use costly hazardous chemicals that may cause nanoparticles to adhere surfaces. To address limitations, researchers are actively developing alternative procedures cost-effective, environmentally safe, user-friendly. One promising approach involves biological synthesis, which utilizes plants or microorganisms reducing capping agents. This review discusses various nanoparticle a focus on synthesis using naturally occurring bioflocculants microorganisms. Bioflocculants offer several advantages, harmlessness, biodegradability, minimal secondary pollution. Furthermore, covers characterization synthesized their antimicrobial activity, cytotoxicity. Additionally, it explores utilization NPs in water purification dye removal processes.

In this paper, a novel functional magnetic nano-demulsifier with efficient oil-water separation and recyclability was prepared by one-pot method. Magnetic fluorinated polyether composite demulsifier (Fe3O4@C-F) combining Fe3O4 as matrix carbon nanospheres grafting polyether. The morphology structure of the composites were analyzed scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) transmission (TEM). results showed that successfully compounded on Fe3O4, crystallinity improved. demulsification experiment recovery performance test carried out self-made crude oil emulsion. main factors affecting its mechanism discussed. effect Fe3O4@C-F best when dosage 600 ppm, 65 °C, 120 min pH value 6. rate could reach 96.68 %, interface clear. had response, be recycled reused 5 times from two-phase system under external field. application materials in field has injected new power source for nanomaterials demulsifiers.

Abstract Using the hydrothermal technique, we synthesised ZnS and Ce-doped nanoparticles with various doping concentrations (0.5, 1, 2.5, 5 wt%). X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis indicated that pure exhibited a cubic phase, but when doped Ce, phase changed to wurtzite. The transition in was also verified by Raman spectroscopy. In photoluminescence (PL) spectra, however, no transitions matching dopant were identified, overall luminous behaviour of may still be influenced luminescence host material. Morphological examinations carried out using scanning electron microscopy (SEM) transmission (TEM), which revealed information about size, shape, distribution nanoparticles. presence Ce further confirmed Energy-dispersive x-ray spectroscopy (EDAX). visible light photocatalytic activity examined, it observed efficiency initially increased concentration then decreased. For 99% degradation efficiency, 1% determined optimal. success synthesis characterisation is highlighted this work, demonstrates their change, elemental composition, activity. findings give important insights into possible uses these photocatalysis other domains like optoelectronics.
