Background of the Study: Cardiopulmonary fitness is a major component healthy life and it fundamental physical psychological wellness. Healthy persons can raise their metabolic rate markedly producing energy required for continuous exercises. CPF exercises assist body development more effectively well-enhanced to handle ADLs tasks. It also reduces possibility several chronic diseases. This study aims evaluate awareness knowledge cardiopulmonary among therapy students in Karachi. Methodology: A cross-sectional survey was conducted at physiotherapy institutes. sample 230 selected via non- probability purposive sampling technique. Data collected using self-designed questionnaire derived from literature, its validity pilot testing done prior survey. Consent taken after explaining study’s objectives. Participants were asked fill out questionnaire. Results: The majority (66.9%) had fair fitness, only 12.6% well aware CPF. 82.6% 80.4% knew about exercise’s nature mode respectively. Regarding frequency duration 24.3% 31.3% respectively, accurately 32% how differ general Only 27% muscle fiber type used 82.2% participants consumption mechanism Conclusion: outcome this shows that there lack inconsistency related Majority not students.

Background Hospitalizations account for almost one-third of the US $4.1 trillion health care cost in United States. A substantial portion these hospitalizations are attributed to readmissions, which led establishment Hospital Readmissions Reduction Program (HRRP) 2012. The HRRP reduces payments hospitals with excess readmissions. In 2018, >US $700 million was withheld; this is expected exceed $1 billion by 2022. More importantly, there nothing more physically and emotionally taxing readmitted patients demoralizing hospital physicians, nurses, administrators. Given high uncertainty proper home recovery, intelligent monitoring needed predict outcome discharged reduce Physical activity (PA) one major determinants overall clinical outcomes diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, heart failure, cancer, mental issues. Published: April 2, 2024

This review focuses on the emerging evidence for association between estimated cardiorespiratory fitness (eCRF) and metabolic risk factors. Given challenges associated with directly measuring (CRF) in large populations, eCRF presents a practical alternative predicting health risks. A literature search identified six relevant cohort studies from 2021 to 2024 that investigated of hypertension, hyperglycemia, dyslipidemia, obesity. The findings highlight consistent inverse relationship higher lower incidence risks line CRF studies. highlights importance low as primordial indicator underscores need broader application. Future research directions should include exploring eCRF's predictive accuracy across diverse populations outcomes testing its real-world applicability healthcare public settings.

Combined endurance and resistance training, also known as "concurrent training", is a common practice in exercise routines. While concurrent training offers the benefit of targeting both cardiovascular muscular fitness, it imposes greater physiological demands on body compared to performing each modality isolation. Increased protein consumption has been suggested support adaptations training. However, impact supplementation responses low-volume still unclear. Forty-four untrained, healthy individuals (27 ± 6 years) performed two sessions/week high-intensity interval cycle ergometers followed by five machine-based exercises for 8 weeks. Volunteers randomly received (double-blinded) 40 g whey-based (PRO group) or an isocaloric placebo (maltodextrin, PLA after session. Maximal oxygen (VO
