ABSTRACT Nanofiltration (NF) membranes play a huge role in industrial manufacturing with their unique selective permeability. Membrane material and structure are the main factors affecting effectiveness of NF separation. Typically, produced by interfacial polymerization (IP). Therefore, control IP process is particularly important. This work provides membrane preparation combining internal modulation separation layer surface modification. The diffusion polyethyleneimine (PEI) molecules accelerated introduction ethanol cetyltrimethylammonium bromide into PEI aqueous phase solution, resulting formation loose interior. In addition, high selectivity maintained molecular weight modifying. After optimizing process, permeate flux can be increased compared to blank group (MgCl 2 desalination from 90% 97%, 17 35 L m −2 h −1 ). High-quality thin-film composite (TFC) membranes with high selectivity and permeability have great significance owing to their practical applications, specifically for the accurate differentiation of monovalent divalent ions. However, trade-off effect between is still a big challenge due difficult structure adjustment selective layer. Herein, polydopamine (PDA) functionalized hydrophobic long alkane chain was first explored as functional amphiphilic interlayer synthesize high-quality TFC via confined interfacial polymerization (IP) reaction. The not only restricted formation polyamide (PA) matrix in pores substrate but also accelerated spatially more homogeneous formed PA active layer uniform pore size distribution. method may provide an effective principle construction versatile polyamide-based perm-selectivity on various supports. NaCl/Na2SO4 separation factor D-8/PA membrane reached 204.07, while flux increased up 25.71 L m–2 h–1 bar–1. This progress provides feasible way devisable creative industrial application.

Abstract Biochar Porous Carbon (BPC) has become a research hotspot in the fields of energy storage, conversion, catalysis, adsorption, and separation engineering. However, key problem pore structure liable to collapse not yet been addressed effectively. Here, an innovative salt ionic coordination modulation technique is reported synthesize new core‐shell BPC (Dual‐doped porous carbonaceous materials, RHPC3@LaYO 3 ) by asymmetric load f orbital ion, which prevents structural collapse. The result shows that novel supercapacitors (ASCs) with excellent density (193.11 Wh·kg −1 capacitance (267.14 F·g assembling prepared carrier , surpass typical supercapacitor. In order elucidate association between adsorption capacitance, coexistence equation (MACE) constructed aim providing comprehensive explanation for mechanism single‐multilayer adsorption. Furthermore, specific linkage discovered using adsorption/ desorption properties validate pros/cons capacitive properties. These results demonstrate potential renewable biomass materials as ASCs, can provide ideas construction evaluation approach performance future efficient multi‐reaction storage devices.
