The booming aquaculture industry has created a strong demand for fishmeal and increased environmental pressures. Spirulina, as potential alternative to fishmeal, been shown have growth-promoting animal health-enhancing properties. In this study, 600 large spiny loaches, divided into five experimental groups, F0, F1, F2, F3, F4, were reared 10 weeks using Spirulina platensis powder (SPP) substitute 0%, 5%, 10%, 15%, 20% of respectively. results intestinal physiological indexes showed that superoxide dismutase was lower than F0 in all treatment the activity F3 significantly (p < 0.05). malondialdehyde higher groups except addition SPP also led decrease acid phosphatase intestine, which compared group serum physiology gradually with increase percentage addition, produced significant difference from transcriptomics DEGs low substitution (<15%) mostly enriched metabolism-related pathways, such bile secretion; high (>15%) inflammation-related complement p coagulation cascades. Metabolomics confirmed nicotinate nicotinamide metabolism glycerophospholipid two pathways replacement by SPP. present study demonstrated feed mobilized MA digestive metabolism, whereas induced stress. Considering health farm efficiency aspects, proportion formulation should be less 15%.
