Water depollution via adsorption is an energy-efficient technique that uses activated carbon produced from walnut shells to remove different pollutants. Our research integrates theoretical and experimental approaches comprehensively understand the subject. By analyzing organic functional groups in shell-derived (AC-Ws), evaluating performance, employing DFT analysis, optimizing conditions, we provide valuable insights into application of AC-Ws for removing pesticide pollutants wastewater. The properties this (AC-Ws) are identified by techniques such as XRD, FTIR, SEM/EDX, pHzpc, Boehm titration. A response surface methodology (RSM) has been utilized develop experiment aqueous solutions two herbicides, 2,4,5-trichlorophenoxyacetic acid (2.4.5-T), 2,4-Dichlorophenoxyacetic (2,4-D). A metal–organic framework (MOF-199) nanocomposite was coated on magnetic graphene oxide (MGO) as a sorbent (MGO/MOF-199) and used for the isolation of aromatic amines by solid-phase extraction (MSPE). The analytes subsequently determined using gas chromatography with flame ionization detector (GC-FID). mass, desorption solvent, time, pH were optimized. calibration plots demonstrate linear ranges from 0.1 to 500 ng mL−1 correlation coefficients 0.9908 0.9939. limits detection (LOD) between 0.03 mL−1. To evaluate repeatability, relative standard deviations (RSD) evaluated 0.1, 10, 100 amines, yielding values 3.2% 4.5%. developed method employed extract tap water, seawater, spring water. recoveries 97.2% 99.9%.
