The rational design of nanozymes with excellent enzyme-like catalytic activity and high stability has been a promising objective for biochemistry. Total antioxidant capacity (TAC) is vital indicator oxidative stress in humans. Herein, smartphone-based visual sensing platform utilizing nanorod-shaped Ni–Fe-based metal–organic frameworks (Ni–Fe-MOFs) as peroxidase-mimic was developed the fast, portable, low-cost, on-site determination ascorbic acid (AA). Ni–Fe-MOFs are beneficial single electron transfer, which suggests that can be utilized good nanozyme detection AA. mechanism proves most active oxygen ·OH O2·– species capability. display affinity 3,3′,5,5′-tetramethylbenzidine (TMB) employed AA, low limit 0.094 μM. proposed strategy implies AA human serum samples feasible, thus generating data fine precision. This work not only offers insight designing highly efficient but also broadens their utilization

The need to identify ammonia is necessary because of its harmful effects on the environment and humans. In this study, a colorimetric method was also developed for detection using silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) synthesized with green approach. Biosynthesis AgNPs performed by nitrate as precursor Smyrnium cordifolium extract reducing stabilizing agent. Plant studied FTIR LC/Mass techniques. optimization effective parameters carried out central composite design according concentration, plant volume, pH, temperature. Biosynthetic nano-silver characterized XRD, EDS/EDX, FE-SEM, FTIR, TGA, DLS methods. validated detection. were increased in 20 mM AgNO
