ABSTRACT Cancer is a result of uncontrolled cell growth with the potential to damage or spread another part body. It deadliest disease in world; therefore, rapid and sensitive detection essential fight it. In past few decades, many diagnosis tools have been developed detect cancer monitor therapy progress. Among them, electrochemical biosensor showed promising significance due its capability early detection, selectivity, sensitivity, flexibility, portability cost‐effectiveness. The performance sensor depends on surface engineering as well development techniques based types biomarkers. This review covers importance diagnosis, basic concept biosensor, design strategy biosensors including state‐of‐the‐art for different biomarker detection. Additionally, limitations advantages were parallelly explained. Finally, future direction advancement comprehensively discussed. author trusts that insights thus explained will lead further research scholarly community aimed at expanding theoretical knowledge pragmatic innovation sensing devices Such findings are anticipated facilitate high‐end developments both area application.
