AbstractAs a commonly well-known industrial chemical, phthalates are produced in high volumes to be used various consumer products (e.g., plasticizers, medical devices, construction materials, and toys) enhance softness, durability, transparency, flexibility. Phthalates generally not chemically bonded the polymer chain of plastic which they mixed. Thus, may leach, migrate, or evaporate into indoor/outdoor air, foodstuffs. In this review, comprehensive overview several sample preparation methods coupled with gas chromatography for analysis kinds complex matrices, focus on last 20 years' worth papers. The review begins by highlighting environmental significance phthalate pollution along routes their exposure general population. Then, discussion is extended cover pretreatment extraction techniques quantitation based chromatographic approach. Finally, present future challenges detection aqueous food matrices discussed. Keywords: Endocrine disrupting compoundsfood matricesgas chromatographyphthalatessample Disclosure statementThe authors report there no competing interests declare.Additional informationFundingIM acknowledges UGC-D. In many nations, particularly those experiencing water scarcity, novel approaches are being applied to clean wastewater. Heterogeneous photocatalysis is the most widely used of these because it entails decomposition organic molecules into and carbon dioxide, which a more ecologically benign process. our study, we studied photocatalytic degradation process on effluent flumequine. This treatment made through solar pilot reactor in presence immobilized titanium dioxide with three light intensities two types as solvents. A variety factors that might influence rate deterioration, such flow rate, intensity, initial concentration, have been investigated. The maximal flumequine was achieved at than 90% after 2.5 h under optimal conditions (an concentration 5 mg/L, lamp intensities, 29 L/h). By combining oxidized agent H2O2 this process, activity improved further 97% same conditions. mineralization product has also tested using total (TOC) analysis. high recorded around 50% for (20 mg/L) 126 L/h. results demonstrated highly effective removal efficacy system.

More and more attention has been paid to condensable particulate matter (CPM) since its emissions have surpassed that of filterable (FPM) with the large-scale application ultralow-emission reform. CPM is a gaseous material in flue stack but instantly turns into particles after leaving stack. It composed inorganic organic components. Organic components are an important part CPM, they irritant, teratogenic, carcinogenic, which triggers photochemical smog, urban haze, acid deposition. can aggravate air pollution climate change; therefore, consideration should be given them. Based on existing methods for removing atmospheric pollutants combined characteristics components, we provide critical overview from aspects (i) fundamental cognition (ii) common control (iii) catalytic oxidation As one most encouraging methods, discussed detail, especially combination selective reduction (SCR) technology, meet growing demands multipollutant (MPC). We believe this review inspiring fuller understanding deeper exploration promising approaches
