Abstract Undoubtedly, metal corrosion is one of the most challenging problems faced by industries. Introducing inhibitors a reasonable approach to protecting surface. Due environmental concerns and toxicity industrial organic inhibitors, researchers are continually exploring acceptable replacements. The current study focused on application Falcaria Vulgaris (FV) leaves extract mitigate mild steel (MS) in 1 M HCl environment. polarization findings demonstrated that density decreased from 264.0 µA/cm 2 (for sample submerged blank solution) 20.4 when optimal concentration 800 ppm FV was added acid solution.
