Effective removal of organic UV filters from aquatic environmental compartments and swimming waters is very important because these substances are hazardous to humans wildlife at low concentrations act as endocrine disruptors. Therefore, the aim present article determine extraction efficiencies hydrophobic deep eutectic solvents (HDES) for selected based on benzophenone structure (benzophenone, 2,4-dihydroxybenzophenone, 2,2´,4,4´-tetrahydroxybenzophenone, 2-hydroxy-4-methoxybenzophenone, 2,2´-dihydroxy-4-methoxybenzophenone, 4-methacryloxy-2-hydroxybenzophenone) aqueous matrices. For this purpose, six HDESs dl-menthol in combination with caprylic, decanoic lauric acid prepared compared referent terpene such terpineol linalool. The effect various parameters HDES composition, volume ratio, frequency shaking time studied. highest efficiency shown by menthol:caprylic (1:1) composition aqueous:organic phase ratio 1:1, 1500 rpm 15 min. achieved higher than 99.6 % all benzophenones studied purification stagnant pond water, pool water river samples. After a simple fast sample treatment, residual levels controlled newly developed sensitive HPLC-MS/MS method LOQs range 0.7 - 5.0 ng/mL.

In an era so focused on sustainability, it is important to improve chemical processes by developing and using more environmentally friendly solvents technologies. Deep eutectic (DES) have proven be a promising replacement for conventional solvents. recent years, new type of DES has emerged that responds various stimuli. These responsive (RDES) may offer all the advantages while allowing recycling reuse As such, RDES can further contribute greener future. This review provides overview diverse types RDES, their switching mechanisms application in several fields. Lastly, offers critical perspective current shortcomings prospects.
