In this work, the use of Green Ethanolic and Hexanolic Extractant (GEE, GHE) as an extractant agent has been investigated in a variety solvent extraction methods for iron, copper, manganese zinc from aqueous solution. The impact several parameters, including diluent type, pH, GEE, GHE concentration, A/Oratio temperature process were investigated. thermodynamic ΔH°, ΔG° ΔS° evaluated. metal ions by GEE is exothermic negative value enthalpy change (ΔH). efficiencies 10% (v/v) Fe, Mn, Cu Zn determined to be 92%, 87%, 77% 72%, while 88%, 86%, 84% respectively. loaded Zn, can stripped using 1 M H2SO4 inorganic acid. maximum stripping efficiency removal metals on studied.

We report a sustainable approach to synthesize silver nanoparticles (SNPs) using bio-inspired method employing Lagerstroemia speciosa fruit extract. Characterized SNPs exhibited spherical morphology with hydrodynamic diameter of 61.12 nm and face-centred cubic crystalline structure confirmed by XRD prominent peak at 38.79°. The synthesized displayed UV-visible absorption 423 nm, indicating the formation metallic silver. Zeta potential measurements revealed value −10.9 mV, suggesting good colloidal stability. FTIR analysis involvement biomolecules in synthesis stabilization. These greenly demonstrated efficient catalytic degradation Rhodamine B Malachite Green dyes, rates 0.2193 min−1 0.3636 min−1, respectively, following first-order kinetics. This study highlights plant-mediated as promising catalyst for remediation dye-contaminated water.
