The
quantity
of
“turn-on”
probes
for
Cu
2+
is
relatively
small,
and
the
interference
other
metal
cations
obvious.
In
this
research,
a
rhodamine
B-based
probe,
1-phenyl-3-methyl-5-hydroxypyrazole-4-benzoyl(rhodamine
B)
hydrazone
(
RBHP ),
was
synthesized
characterized
by
1 H
NMR,
electrospray
ionization
mass
spectrum,
elemental
analyses,
X-ray
single
crystal
diffraction.
Selectivity
studies
on
RBHP
to
cations,
fluorescence
UV–vis
absorption
spectra
titrations
were
also
conducted.
showed
an
extremely
low
background
signal
in
acetonitrile
could
produce
fluorescent
response
Cu
2+ .
While,
Na
+ ,
K
+ ,
Mg
2+ ,
Ca
2+ ,
Mn
2+ ,
Fe
