In this study, a polyoxometalate-based inorganic-organic hybrid material, Na4[Cu4(Gly)2(HGly)2(H4W12O42)]Cl2·20H2O (1) (Gly = glycine), was synthesized via self-assembly approach by incorporating copper ions and glycine into the paradodecatungstate anion [H4W12O42]8-. The structure properties of compound 1 were systematically characterized using single crystal X-ray diffraction, elemental analysis, powder FTIR, Raman spectroscopy, cyclic voltammetry (CV), UV-vis spectroscopy. Additionally, its anticancer activity evaluated in vitro against human liver cancer cells (HepG2) renal epithelial (HEK293T) MTT assay, yielding an IC50 value 36.232 ± 0.41 μM. findings demonstrate that effectively inhibits proliferation cells, highlighting potential as candidate for polyoxotungstate (POT)-based drug development.
