Background/Objectives: The COVID-19 pandemic disrupted healthcare systems globally, altering the management of chronic conditions like multiple sclerosis (MS) and interrupting regular monitoring support that people with MS (pwMS) typically need. aim this study was to examine changes in utilization resources over various periods during 2020 2021, assess how these affected perceptions pwMSregarding their care. Methods: A longitudinal survey conducted at Center University Hospital Dresden, Germany, involving four from April December 2021. assessed use resources, including consultations specialists, rehabilitative therapy facilities, unmet needs, across phases pandemic, encompassing both lockdown less restrictive periods. Results: At onset 2020, first lockdown, 750 questionnaires were evaluated. While most pwMS reported consistent medical care compared pre-pandemic levels, 19.2% had fewer general practitioner visits, 10.6% neurologist visits. During follow-up periods, generally remained stable, although there notable reductions by a subset participants. Conclusions: findings suggest therapeutic for Germany largely accessible However, also reveals certain gaps may be addressed incorporating digital technologies into rehabilitation, potentially enhancing future pandemics or similar situations.

Covid-19 pandemic greatly impacted on the healthcare systems worldwide with negative consequences several aspects of clinical populations. For neurological chronic conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis (MS), rehabilitation activities have been suspended or postponed during pandemic. Rehabilitation is crucial for people MS (PwMS) because it promotes recovery from relapses and maximizes opportunities social participation. To better understand impact emergency services MS, European network in (RIMS) disseminated a survey to professionals (HPs) representatives (RSs), explore two different perspectives delivery usual circumstances emergency.The online was distributed July 9th September 20th, 2020. Besides general information responders (e.g. location center, memebership RIMS), collected service settings, specialities, types treatment), restrictions, use personal protective equipment, work), technologiesin rehabilitation.Twenty-two (RSs)and 143 health care responded. Most RSs HPs worked specialized including mixture all settings (i.e. inpatient, outpatient community setting). The majority adopted multidisciplinary framework, physical therapy, occupational service, speech language psychological support, dietary interventions, medical management, vocational cognitive rehabilitaton. Overall, most indicated they did not technologies their practice treatment assessment). Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a chronic autoimmune neurodegenerative disease. This disease can manifest itself in many different neurological symptoms such as (gait and balance impairment, sensory deficits, muscle weakness, spasticity, bladder fatigue, cognitive impairment etc.). For successful management not only pharmacological treatment important, but also healthy lifestyle including regular physical activity. However, pandemic restrictions limited access to sport facilities together with home-office regimen, increased the sedentary behaviour all population. The level of activity people MS Czech Republic remains unclear. Therefore, using an online cross-sectional survey we aimed evaluate (PA) during Covid-19 pandemic. Two hundred ninety-seven persons filled out survey, 83 % women, mean age 43.7 years (SD 11.3). Most respondents had mild moderate disability (74 %). During year 2020, 23 ceased their PA, 18 reduced 25 continued PA before, 11 20 did perform any past do so Aerobic was main type performed followed by health exercise yoga.
