Abstract
Inorganic
metal
halide
perovskites
have
emerged
as
a
prominent
research
focus
in
the
field
of
visible‐region
optoelectronic
devices.
However,
exploring
ultraviolet
(UV)‐emitting
inorganic
with
both
high
efficiency
and
excellent
thermal
stability
is
still
large
challenge.
Herein,
robust
anti‐thermal
quenching
UV‐emitting
material,
Ce
3+
doped
0D
Cs
2
ZnBr
4
reported,
exhibiting
doublet
emission
peaks
at
342
367
nm
photoluminescence
quantum
yield
up
to
97.0%.
Specifically,
doping
imparts
abnormal
from
303
373
K
thermally
enhanced
1.8
fold
luminescence.
Thermoluminescence
spectra
density
functional
theory
calculations
demonstrate
that
behavior
originated
effective
compensation
activated
defect
levels
5d‐band.
Furthermore,
A
bright
UV
light‐emitting
diode
based
on
:Ce
fabricated,
achieving
an
external
0.81%
displaying
exceptional
long
half‐lifetime
528
h.
Thus,
this
work
not
only
provides
design
strategy
for
phosphors
but
also
paves
new
way
cost‐effective,
high‐power
diodes.

Abstract
Advanced
functional
materials
that
possess
both
persistent
luminescence
(PersL)
and
mechanoluminescence
(ML)
have
gained
considerable
attention
during
the
past
few
years
owing
to
their
potential
applications
in
many
fields
such
as
two‐dimensional
stress
sensing,
energy‐saving
lighting,
optical
bioimaging.
However,
combined
investigation
of
PersL
ML
is
still
its
infancy.
Here,
property
Er
3+
‐doped
NaYF
4
,
mainly
focusing
on
characteristic
correlation,
studied
detail.
It
shown
microscaled
:Er
has
advantages
against
nanoscaled
counterpart
terms
ML,
consistent
with
photoluminescence
results.
By
means
pre‐charging
trap‐emptying
cycle
thermoluminescence
test,
it
confirmed
come
from
same
trapped
charge
carriers,
belongs
trap‐controlled
ML.
Furthermore,
good
repeatability
proven,
regulation
realized.
Finally,
for
dynamic
anti‐counterfeiting
dual‐mode
detection
X‐ray
radiation
dose
demonstrated.

Abstract
Optical
upconversion
materials
doped
with
lanthanides,
such
as
Yb
3+
‐Er
,
‐Ho
and
‐Tm
coped
systems,
have
been
intensively
studied
over
the
past
two
decades
because
they
can
convert
long‐wavelength
low‐energy
near‐infrared
photons
into
short‐wavelength
high‐energy
visible
UV
light.
Compared
to
these
double‐doped
Pr
‐doped
inorganic
are
gradually
gaining
popularity
expected
become
a
new
hotspot
in
field
of
research.
However,
comprehensive
reviews
this
issue
scarce.
In
minireview,
basic
characteristics
transitions
briefly
introduced.
Next,
it
concentrates
on
strategies
that
explored
for
regulating
visible‐to‐UV
efficiency.
Subsequently,
potential
applications
summarized.
