Abstract Over the past two decades since discovery of graphene, there is significant interest in two‐dimensional (2D) layered materials. However, nonlayered materials, which are far more abundant, remain underexplored. By shifting focus to 2D variety materials not only expanded but also explores advanced technologies and uncovers potential new phenomena. In this paper, recent developments reviewed controlled synthesis using chemical vapor deposition (CVD) techniques their applications electronics. Begin by categorizing extensive array based on composition crystal structure. Next, specialized CVD growth methods that suitable for discussed, enabling high‐quality specimens. The physical properties internal structure through spectroscopic studies atomic scale characterization then analyzed. Finally, these transistors, highlighting diverse uses advantages summarized. consolidating studies, future transistors proposing various research ideas technical pathways further development envisioned.
