Abstract Photocatalytic materials have emerged as pivotal in addressing global challenges such environmental pollution, energy scarcity, and industrial sustainability. This review delves into the principles, mechanisms, applications of photocatalytic systems, emphasizing their roles photodegradation renewable production.
