Droplet impact in electric fields is widely encountered many industrial applications. During the droplet impact, as it stretched, a sharp tip appears at top, which distorts local field and induces strong electrostatic force that eventually causes to eject or breakup. Therefore, avoid excitation of forces, we apply some special superhydrophobic surfaces, enabling droplets skip stretching stage directly rebound from surface after spreading. Such behaviors have been proven effectively prevent ejection breakup field. Our research expected enable non-loss transportation optimal design outdoor electrical devices.
