TzPz, a newly synthesized ethyl 2-(3-(3,5-dimethyl-1H-pyrazol1-yl)-H-1,2,4-triazol-1-yl) ethan-ol, was evaluated as mild steel corrosion inhibitor in 1.0 HCl environment. The synthesis objective for this type of molecule-type to create triazole-based molecule with simple yet effective structure, well increase the number nitrogen donors boost adsorption affinities at metal surface. This investigation began electrochemical techniques such EIS & PDP. results obtained suggest that TzPz is good inhibitor, maximal effectiveness (91.9%) 303 K. inhibitory efficacy increases dramatically increasing concentration and decreases temperature. According data, functions mixed process controlled by charge transfer. In addition, isotherm adheres Langmuir model. UV-visible spectroscopy used evaluate probability Fe-inhibitory interactions. Theoretical calculations using DFT technique were performed discussed order understand its interfacial approach compare them experimental data.

Two green inhibitors extracted from an endemic species (Origanum grosii (Og)) using two solvents of different polarity (water and ethanol), OgW (aqueous extract) OgE (ethanolic extract), were used for the anticorrosion mild steel (M steel) in a 1 M HCl medium. Anticorrosive performance was assessed standard electrochemical techniques, EIS/PDP measurements, weight loss method SEM/EDX surface analysis. The results show that achieves maximum inhibition efficiency 92 % extract aqueous medium (more polar) is more efficient than ethanolic (less polar). Both extracts act as mixed their corrosion process predominantly governed by charge transfer. Concentration temperature effect studied shown they are antagonistic parameters evolution inhibitory effectiveness both OgE. adsorption isotherms obey to Langmuir model. Moreover, examination SEM images EDX spectra support deposit on metal phenomenon. Besides, theoretical approach molecular structures major compounds M-OgW M-OgE examined via DFT calculations dynamics simulations it consistent with experimental findings.
