Auxetic
materials,
known
for
their
negative
Poisson's
ratio
and
unique
form-fitting
deformation,
are
proposed
in
this
study
designing
bra
pads
to
accommodate
different
cup
sizes.
The
deformation
elasticity
behaviour
of
re-entrant
auxetic
structures
with
a
bow-tie
shape,
made
silicone
elastomer,
is
systematically
analysed
size
accommodation
shape
conformity,
compared
traditional
polyurethane
foam
spacer
fabric
used
pads.
results
indicate
that
the
exhibit
desirable
mechanical
properties,
including
superior
stable
under
tensile
loading.
Additionally,
these
facilitate
3D
conformity
breast
shapes,
thereby
improving
overall
fit.
Amongst
4
unit
cell
dimensions
studied,
elastomer
9.14
mm
most
promising
candidate,
which
has
elasticity,
linear
expansion,
excellent
conformity.
This
enables

offering
potential
realize
one-size-fits-more
concept.
