Abstract The present text deals with the study of thin films metal–organic frameworks (MOF) materials based on Zn–BDC, Cu–BDC, and their modified versions titanium incorporations at 5 10% mol. These were synthesized by chemically assisted vapor deposition (AACVD) technique characterized various techniques such as X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Raman spectroscopy, band gap determination, photoluminescence spectroscopy. results indicated that incorporation modifies structural, optical, electronic properties these MOFs, decreasing altering light absorption emission characteristics. Furthermore, efficiency photocatalysts in photoreduction CO₂ an aqueous system was evaluated, using liquid chromatography (HPLC) to analyze products. It found Cu–BDC exhibited higher compared significantly improved catalytic activity both materials. Ti–Cu–BDC showed highest efficiency, a total yield 344 mmol/L products conversion 56.4%. suggest modification MOFs is effective strategy optimize performance other environmental energy applications.
