Abstract Background The integration of smart glasses technology in medical education has emerged as a promising approach to enhance specially clinical setting. Grounded situational learning theory, provide immersive experiences that allow students engage with real-world scenarios. purpose this study is investigate the application and impact education. Method In study, two databases, PubMed ScienceDirect, were used from 2016 2024 related keywords specific terms. process searching collecting studies, we utilized Statement Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews Meta-Analyses (PRISMA). studies reviewed included full-text quantitative, qualitative, review articles addressed glasses. initial review, 123 found, after applying inclusion exclusion criteria, 13 evaluated by reviewers. Finally, 28 selected review. Result outcome indicated significantly procedural training allowing observe live surgeries interact instructors real-time. Additionally, facilitated remote collaboration, enabling participate sessions regardless geographical constraints. Método: estudio bibliométrico realizado cinco etapas: diseño Investigación, compilación datos bibliométricos, análisis, visualización e interpretación; informe basado recomendaciones Preferred Reporting Items for Bibliometric Analysis (PRIBA). Búsqueda realizada Literatura Latinoamericana del Ciencias Salud (LILACS). Para análisis se utilizó VOSviewer versión 1.6.20. interpretar aplicaron Leyes Bradford Zipf, considerando dinámica temporal publicaciones, abordaje analítico estructura los estudios seleccionados sus repercusiones enseñanza enfermería Caribe. Resultados: fueron hallados 579 estudios, 46 ellos integraron muestra final. Los incluidos publicados entre 1994 2022, solo Brasil, Chile, Colombia Cuba realizaron investigaciones relacionadas con virtual.
