Childhood trauma (CT) is a known risk factor for major depressive disorder (MDD), but the mechanisms linking CT and MDD remain unknown. Abstract Background Nurses bear a lot of stressors at work. The 10-item Perceived Stress Scale (PSS-10) is widely used self-reported scale for measuring the global perception stress. However, there lack use PSS-10 in Chinese nurses. This study aimed to test psychometric properties among Methods A total 708 nurses completed PSS-10, Big Five Inventory (BFI), and Depression Anxiety (DASS). Confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) tested structure PSS-10. Cronbach’s α test-retest correlation examined reliability.
