Background As the incidence of neurodegenerative diseases increases, related AI research is getting more and advanced. In this study, we analyze literature in field over last decade through bibliometric visualization methods with aim mining prominent journals, institutions, authors, countries analyzing keywords order to speculate on possible future trends. Methods Our study extracted 1,921 relevant publications spanning 2015–2025 from Web Science Core Collection database. We conducted comprehensive analyses knowledge mapping visualizations using established scientometric tools: CiteSpace Bibliometrix. Results A total 1921 documents were included number showed an overall increasing trend, average citations a downward trend since 2019. Among Scientific Reports had highest publications. addition, identified 22 core journals. Institution wise, University London has participation. Benzinger, Tammie. The Fingere Elizabeth. At national level, United States one world terms influence field, China ranked two, both which are well ahead other major contributors field. analysis centrality Alzheimer disease, machine learning, Parkinsons deep learning. All studies clustered based get seven clusters: 0. immune infiltration; 1. disease; 2. multiple sclerosis; 3. mild cognitive impairment; 4. learning; 5. 6. freesurfer; 7. scale. also found continuation trending topics, Conclusion Based relationship between time, that there four trends: Precision diagnosis multimodal data fusion. Pathological mechanism target discovery. Interpretable clinical translation. Technology differentiation for subdivided diseases.
