The purpose of this study was to investigate comparatively the anticancer potential Terbinafine loaded Dextran Sulphate coated Zein nanospheres against human prostate cancer PC3 cells enhance repurposing profile terbinafine utilizing optimized nano-sized delivery systems. formula fabricated using thin film hydration technique. Particle size analysis, drug diffusion, and encapsulation efficiency were considered when evaluating formula, which developed a Box-Behnken statistical design. Due optimization, mean particle 273.2 ± 1.98 nm, zeta -38.4 2.77 mV, amount released after 36 h 97.4 5.7%. exhibited significantly reduced IC50 in by around 14-fold. A higher cellular uptake observed. cell cycle assay results obtained suppression proliferation, especially G0/G1 S phases. This pro-apoptotic pattern confirmed increased mRNA expression CASP3 P53 CDK1, CDK7, CDK9. Furthermore, production reactive oxygen species achieved. revealed enhanced pro-apoptosis support toward cancer.
