Abstract As a unique form of empathy, pain empathy often has close relationship with society and morality. Research revealed that moral emotions can influence empathy. The underlying physiological mechanism still needs to be further examined understand how affect This study employs EEG Machine Learning techniques, using painful image induction paradigm explore the impact emotion (guilt)—on its neural mechanisms. Participants without sensation were instructed observe evaluate pictures an anonymous hand in or non-painful under feelings guilt neutral emotion. Results found slower reaction times higher ratings for pictures. Furthermore, led ratings. Under conditions pictures, guilt-induced greater P3(350-450ms) amplitudes α oscillations enhanced functional connectivity between prefrontal cortex, central frontal region, parieto-occipital lobe. K-nearest neighbor effectively classify high low-pain result showed promotes brain’s processing picture, causing individuals pay attention engage deep cognitive processing. provides insights into enhancing fostering interpersonal relationships.

Parent-adolescent emotion transmission is crucial for adolescents' psychological development. Parental negative emotions could impair parent-adolescent interaction and relationships. Brief mindfulness practices (BMPs) are effective improving emotional regulation reducing emotions. However, few studies explored the effects of BMP on transmission. This study used hyperscanning technique to examine differences in change states, cooperative performance, interbrain synchrony (IBS) between group (20 dyads) control rest (CR) under induced parental cooperation tasks. Results showed (1) decreases emotions, hostility, state anxiety after BMP, but only decreased CR rest; (2) an increase success rate no (3) IBS delta theta bands feedback increases failure rest. These findings suggest that may mitigate adolescents promote their focused attitude toward cooperation.
