<b><i>Background:</i></b> Network analysis (NA) is an analytical tool that allows one to explore the map of connections and eventual dynamic influences among symptoms other elements mental disorders. In recent years, use NA in psychopathology has rapidly grown, which calls for a systematic critical its clinical utility. <b><i>Methods:</i></b> Following PRISMA guidelines, review published empirical studies applying psychopathology, between 2010 2017, was conducted. The artificial intelligence chatbot, ChatGPT, has gained widespread attention for its ability to perform natural language processing tasks and the fastest-growing user base in history. Although ChatGPT successfully generated theoretical information multiple fields, identify describe emotions is still unknown. Emotional awareness (EA), conceptualize one's own others' emotions, considered a transdiagnostic mechanism psychopathology. This study utilized Levels of Awareness Scale (LEAS) as an objective, performance-based test analyze ChatGPT's responses twenty scenarios compared EA performance with that general population norms, reported by previous study. A second examination was performed one month later measure improvement over time. Finally, two independent licensed psychologists evaluated fit-to-context responses.
