With the development of economy, people’s demand for energy is increasing, which has led to a shortage fossil fuels. Wave widely distributed renewable source, and wave generation technology can greatly alleviate problem. This study takes snake-like converter (WEC) as an example designs coreless magnetoelectric transducer it. The structure relatively simple, eliminating iron core in transducer, eliminate its own damping. At same time, this minimize gap between magnet coil, improve conversion efficiency, work continuously under complex working conditions. two types transducers examples analyze. aims establish equivalent magnetic circuit models transducers, explore effects different magnets on performance optimize parameters transducers. We used simulation software analyze verify accuracy models. Finally, prototypes were made, testing system was established test capability. Our experiments show that have good capabilities be WECs. type also applied other WECs, providing new approach research

In this study, a novel wind-wave energy hybrid concept is proposed, consisting of Three Gorges Leading semi-submersible floating wind turbine and multiple point absorption wave converters (WECs). Based on three-dimensional potential flow theory, numerical simulations are conducted using the hydrodynamic analysis software AQWA. The existing experimental data used to validate reliability model by comparing analyzing responses platform WECs. Subsequently, Y-shaped WECs microarray form Triangular designed based different connection methods between platform. Numerical simulation study influence these microarrays system’s performance. results show that significantly affects contours under short waves. Regarding motion stability, shows superior mooring line tension, system has an advantage absorbed power, multi-body interactions enhance WECs’ power capacity. Overall, will contribute design systems.

The present study explores the effects of wave–current interaction (WCI) on dynamic response a floating power harvesting platform under typically operational condition, which is composed semi-submersible platform, multiple point-absorber wave energy converters (WECs), and catenary mooring system. First, mathematical model based Joint North Sea Wave Project (JONSWAP) spectrum developed to random interaction. After completing hydrodynamic validation system, time-domain simulations are employed implement loading scenarios, consider current direction, velocity, WCI. findings demonstrate that presence significantly alters characteristics, leading notable changes in conversion performance farm, motion, line tension. This paper underscores importance WCI accurately simulating behavior provides insights into design offshore systems.
