The physicochemical properties, fatty acid composition and volatile aroma compounds of cold-pressed passion fruit seed oils were analyzed. rich in linoleic acid, oleic compounds. A total 108 including 17 aldehydes, 23 alcohols, 21 esters, 19 ketones, 6 acids, 9 alkenes, 5 pyrazines 8 others identified using HS-GC-IMS. significant differences the purple yellow observed via GalleryPlot graph distinguished by principal component analysis. results showed that esters ketones major aromatic oils, which contribute to flavors such as flowery, fruity, creamy, yogurt. Whereas contents pyrazines, alkenes higher contributes nutty odors. findings filled our understanding volatilization characteristics oils.

Abstract Background As a traditional Chinese herbal medicine, Paeonia lactiflora Pall is rich in various active ingredients such as polysaccharides and total flavonoids while having ornamental value. This paper reports the preparation of margarine fat using Lipozyme TL IM as a catalyst and peony seed oil (PSO), palm stearin (PS) coconut (CO) raw materials. The results indicate that there were no significant changes in fatty acid composition before or after interesterification samples. However, total amount medium- long-chain triglycerides (MLCTs) increased from 2.92% to 11.38% sample E1 interesterification, mainly including LaLaO, LaMO, LaPM, LaOO, LaPO LaPP. The argan oil industry generates a large quantity of cake. This residue is traditionally used as livestock feed. In order to explore other potential uses for this by-product, full physico-chemical characterisation was carried out. analysis includes mineral profiling, protein content, fiber fatty acid composition, sterol total polyphenol and flavonoid antioxidant activity, in comparison with cakes, namely almond, sesame, nigella, sunflower soybean cakes. results indicate that potassium (K), phosphorus (P), magnesium (Mg), calcium (Ca) sodium (Na) are the main elements oilcake. terms oilcake contained highest content at 45.90 ± 0.10 g/100 g dry weight. residual around 12.61 0.8 g. Oil from press cake has high levels oleic linoleic (47.88 0.20 32.10 0.15 %) respectively. only one contain Schotenol, Spenasterol Stigma-8-22-dien-3b-ol. Argan showed remarkable values phenolic compounds (5.11± 0.01 mg GAE/g) DPPH activity (8.06 0.08 AAE/g). suggest could be considered rich source nutrients its extracts have substantial value-added potential, warranting attention future research development.

Abstract Purpose : The oil industry generates substantial quantities of oilcake. These residues are traditionally used in many domains for multiple purposes. In order to explore other potential uses these by-products, a comprehensive physicochemical characterisation was conducted. The sunflower has the potential to be a highly competitive crop owing diversity of its market and valuable oil it produces. Nevertheless, amount seed – key factor for crushing industry is affected by genotype environment, sometimes difficult predict. paper analyzes theoretical principles effective growth in Ukraine, highlights current trends sowing this crop, influence climatic factors environment on prospects oilseed yield. results research are presented 3 years (2014–2016), during which authors conducted grain quality observatory at regional level, taking into account conditions different natural zones Ukraine (from 45° 51° north latitude from 22° 37° east longitude). Additionally, includes coefficient significance deviation long-term indicators, makes possible forecast yield future. analyzed data was obtained commercial fields with minimum area 40 ha all Ukrainian regions except Crimea peninsula, Donetsk Luhansk regions. showed great content index as per both longitude meaning. If we consider entire country, survey shows that can change dramatically year year: e.g. 47.5% one versus 45.7% another year.
