The assembly scheduling problem (ASP) and distributed (DASP) have attracted much attention in recent years; however, the transportation stage is often neglected previous works. Factory eligibility means that some products cannot be manufactured all factories. Although it extensively exists many real-life manufacturing processes, hardly considered. In this study, a three-stage ASP with DPm→1 layout, factory setup times studied, Q-learning-based artificial bee colony algorithm (QABC) proposed to minimize total tardiness. To obtain high quality solutions, Q-learning implemented by using eight states based on population evaluation, actions defined global search neighborhood search, new reward an adaptive ε−greedy selection applied dynamically select operator; two employed swarms are obtained division, phase migration between them added; scout modified restart strategy also presented. Extensive experiments conducted. computational results demonstrate strategies of QABC effective, competitive for considered problem.
