The study aims to fabricate and evaluate Nano-ceria encapsulated oleic acid (CeO2 NPs-OA) treat gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM). CeO2 NPs was synthesised by thermal decomposition. TEM, XRD, FTIR confirms particles. In vitro studies on STZ-induced NIH 3T3 assessed antioxidant, anticancer, antidiabetic, anti-inflammatory properties. vivo were performed pregnant mice induced with STZ, examined antidiabetic activity, oxidative stress, dyslipidemia. NPs-OA had a spherical structure uniform distribution. A PDI of 0.5 zeta-potential - 44 ± 2 mV. DPPH ABTS exhibit 40% 39.21% antioxidant activity. inhibits at 500 μg/mL. in confirmed the reduction stress reducing MDA (p < 0.05). histopathological analysis model shows capillary, which reduced. promise for treating GDM improving maternal foetal health.

Abstract This research delves into the development of a hydrogel based on sodium alginate (Na‐Alg), CMTKG and PSA for controlled release Metformin Hydrochloride (Metformin HCl), commonly used drug treatment type 2 diabetes. The was synthesized via free radical mechanism using N, N′ ‐methylene‐bis(acrylamide) (MBA) as crosslinker potassium persulphate (KPS) an initiator. hydrogels were analyzed techniques such ATR‐FTIR, SEM. also investigated swelling behaviour, loading, encapsulation efficiency, kinetics HCl. finding revealed that exhibited pH‐responsive metformin HCl release, with higher perceived at pH 7.4 compared to 1.2. Mathematical models employed study mechanism, indicating diffusion liable from hydrogel. Moreover, HCl‐loaded Na‐Alg/PSA/CMTKG shows excellent anti‐diabetic activity α‐amylase α‐glucosidase enzyme. Henceforth, formulated reveals potential facilitating targeted HCl, offering opportunities improving patient amenability lessening side effects related frequent dosing.
